Alcohol can absolutely cause hetatipis its a precursor to cirrhosis which is the result of prolonged and chronic alcoholic hetatipis. Alcoholic hetatipis can cause an elevation in your transaminases (liver enzymes). However, alcohol cannot cause a false positive in a person's Hepatitis B screening. The tests for Hepatitis B look for the virus or a person's reaction (antibodies) to Hepatitis B which can never be caused by alcohol.

I was a patient of DR.Hembroff for a short while in victoria before he moved back to Alberta.I found him easy to talk to and very knowledgable .He made you feel comfortable and didn't hurry you away. Very sad to see him leave.
